well there's other ways of tying in an exo. the A pillar can go through the fender and tie into the rocker. the C can tie into the fenders that also neatly tie into the back of the rockers. just do the B pillar internal since you need internal support anyway. then you don't have to worry about doors openingOriginally Posted by 1998xjspt

Speaking of indoor cage. I need to think up of how to put an x or some other support design behind front seats that would allow me to tie in harness and at the same time give me room for rear passangers if i ever oneday have any

best way to do that is get your typical B pillars coming down from the roof. then put a bar behind the seats to tie them together and also mount your harnesses. then just do half and X through it. plenty strong enough. I'll try to find a picture. but you can put the bar on the passenger side and pad it so you can sit comfortably

like this, but opposite. that's what I plan on doing. should be strong enough to handle a few slow flops. then maybe tie in another X behind the back seat by the C pillar or something if you feel the need. all depends on what extent you want to go to
