Question Binding feeling / Transfer-case moving after lift

Hello everyone,

I've got a 1994 Cherokee with the NP231 transfer-case, chrystler 8.25 rear axle, and Dana 30 front axle. I had a 4.5" lift with adjustable control arms and transfer case drop in it for a few years now. I recently decided to throw some long arms on and put 2" coil spacers in the front and 2" blocks in the rear to bump it up to 6.5" while everything was out. After getting everything installed I went to pull the Jeep out of my garage and the jeep will roll a little and then it feels like something is binding up and causing resistance. It will smooth out then bind up again. I thought it could have been a parking break cable but after jacking the axles up and spinning the tires I ruled this out. I had someone pull it forward while I looked underneath and noticed that the transfer case is actually flexing up and down. While installing this long arm kit I cut the stock lower control arm mount off the frame and it came with a new crossmember that mounts them up. The kit was from Rough Country and has you remove the transfer case drop to install. Next on my to do list with the jeep was going to be a SYE for the front and rear. I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into a problem like this before and had any advice on SYEs and driveshafts that might fix this issue, or if there is something else someone would recommend doing. Any tips or advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Tyler

1) there is not a SYE kit for the front

2) the tcase is moving the tcase is moving cuz you need a SYE kit on it

If your transfer case is moving you have a bad transmission mount, or the bolts are loose.

Yeah I wrote that wrong I meant an SYE and driveshaft for the front. Didn't know if the stock one would be alright or if should also replace that.

I'm debating on leaving it in or taking it out to do the work. I'm thinking taking it out would be a bit easier. Any recommendations on brands?

The rear driveshaft is probably binding and forcing the tcase to "hop" a little with each revolution.
