Default Which Bilsteins?

Beginning to look into upgraded shocks for my '89 XJ with Rusty's 3.5" advanced lift. Adjustable U/LCAs. I have BPEs installed front and rear. Which model Bilsteins should I look at?

Thanks!

5100 or 5125 which is the universal/ custom application model of the 5100, which might fair better with your BPE situation since you no longer need bar pins and 5125s don't have bar pins (as far as I know) I think people usually like 255/75 valving but you might want to research that some more, then just measure what length you need and order them.

I was fine running the 5100's so I didn't need stem adapters for the front. I am running Iron Rock BPEs up front and Rocky Road in the rear.

Dont waste time trying to use the bar-pin bushing, just get new bushings

Thanks for the info rzldzl. I was mistaken about the lift I have, it's considered a 3" lift. After some research I ordered these shocks, which are considered useful for a 2"-3" lift. The extended/compressed numbers should work for me. Fast shipping from Summit Racing:

Yes. I have a hydraulic press to remove the bar pins from the shocks.

I received the shocks today, and planned on installing tomorrow but unfortunately I now need to replace the radiator in my '96 tomorrow instead.
