Hmm chump indeed... stock implies fenders UN trimmed. Stock means you drive your cherokee into a shop and say "throw some 31's on Billy, I think I can fit um stock." Now with trimmed fenders that is a completely different story. 1.5 inches of lift with really trimmed fenders and 37's flex just as well as 29's with 4.5 inches of lift.
Stock suspension sorry. You said nothing about trimmed fenders. And I hardly trimmed any btw. I took off the flares and the first little lip i clipped and folded in so tis a softer edge if it does hit. I flex great and never have any chunking.

You don't have stock suspension. You have different lcas according to your previous posts. That is where the lip on the STOCK lca meets the inner edge of the lugs. Mine also rubs on the sway bar. And some pictures of your Jeep flexing would be appreciated. If yours is considered stock then technically speaking wouldn't mine? Stock springs and stock packs.

he's right when post about something like i have i make sure i i mention stock here and there.
Stock means right off the factory floor not all the trimming someone did or the added rims etc just so i was clear my cherokee is stock aside from the tires.
However i have just found out my leafsprings are bad cracked broken shackle so that could be part of the reason the 31 dident quite fit if i had put new front springs and rear leafs maybe.

Haha good luck to all you chumps that are trying to fit 31's stock. I spent 200 a piece and I have 3 inch lift on mine and it still rubs. My tires are missing chunks out from the lcas. This can be fixed with more back space. But more back space means even if you try to flex a little your destroying your fenders. But hey. I'm just telling from experience. What do I know right?

You and highwater musta missed it. STOCK means; untrimmed fenders, stock rims, stock LCA. Not ^ or trimmed. There was a guy on JF that did 35's with no lift. So...... does that mean he had a stock jeep? No, it means he was not scared of the sawsall. Dont everybody get all butt hurt and start the pissing contest.

I'm at 5" with 33x12.70x16 maxxis big horns with 4.75 backspaced rims and I beat the crap out of my fenders every time I wheel. Both front and back are cut up, backs are but past pinch seam, folded and welded shut. Rears are also comp cut. I don't rub anywhere unless at full flex. But I agree with brookhart, if you are serious about wheeling and max travel, you're going to beat your fenders a bit. I've gotten used to bending them back into place and going again. I cut the fronts up and relocated the stock flare, don't run flares on the back. So IMO if you only do light wheeling and want to keep it stock, run 30's. I had to do a lot of trimming to get the travel I have now and I still rubbed a lot before I put 2 more inches under it. Just saying

With my fenders cut I don't rub on 33x12.5 at all. It's close like 1/16 but it doesn't rub. Ya no spring in that pic. Everythings on jack stands while I replace the bushings.
