Better Seats Needed

Looking for better seats in my 96' XJ and not sure what the options are.

I swapped in ZJ seats a couple years ago and modified the seat frame to go 3" further back. It still sucks, the ergonomics just aren't good, I'm tall and I'm close to the roof and just don't fit in the seat. The seat backs are still pretty short and the bottoms aren't very deep.

What other options are there?

Have a shop redo the seats the way you want , I did that in other cars I had and it worked out fine .

I put RX8 seats in mine. So much comfier than the stock seats.

any modifications required or are they direct bolt in? any particular year to look for?

Engine: I6 4.0

No direct bolt in. Had to make my own brackets to mount to the stock floor mounts. I can't recall what year. It doesn't matter when you make your own stuff.

i am interested in this mod any chance you have a write up or photos of the bracket you made?
