What size tires you running? With remanufactured calipers up front and some new ceramic pads I can lock up my 31's in front. One of my rear wheel cylinders stopped working on one side and my adjuster cable broke on the other side so hopefully my brakes will be even better.

I'm running 35s and I'm not saying my truck doesn't really stop well it just could be better , I did swap my proportioning valve , but I think your right 93xj I just think my front calipers are just old . Maybe I'll just putting fresh ones on and go from there , they're cheap enough to give it a try and see what happens

I've own a few different Jeeps with various combos of disk conversions and upgrades and the Black Magic stuff is top notch. There is some good info that can be searched on NAXJA. Team Petty Cash runs their stuff on the KOH rig and road race rig.

Simple hydraulic theory of braking systems: When a large amount fluid is forced through a small opening, the pressure increases. (Master cylinder to brake lines) that's the point behind large bore master cylinders.
Now brake pads work by creating friction this in turn creates heat. Now too much heat can cause the pads to gas or lose their friction capabilities. By using larger, slotted or cross drilled rotors, it helps to dissipate that heat and increase the effectiveness of your brakes and extend the life of them.

Drilled rotors bring the suck. Solid, vented rotors are your friend. And you can have a master that is too large... There's a lot of math behind this.
