Default How to properly clean injectors and to use ultrasonic cleaner?

I was wondering what chemical could be used to clean injectors? I've read somewhere that you shouldn't use anything flammable in an US cleaner... true? Also when cleaning them, do I just throw the whole thing in the US cleaner and let the US machine clean and soak them? I'm also going to energize the solenoid to clean the internals.

Actually Off-road diesel (high sulfer) is a great detergent/cleaner. And diesel is a byproduct of gasoline production.

Yea diesel is great for cleaning engine parts and the like. I actually ran some diesel in my oil after I found the PO never changed the oil and the engine was all sludge up. Remember likes dissolve likes and opposites repel.

My injector kit should be coming in today and all I was going to do was soak the injectors in probably diesel and try to rinse out the inside. Still gonna have to figure out how to the filters out easily...
