Grimus, you're link doesn't work. ( maybe the smiley faces are messing you up )
The RC 9500 winch is about the best buy in winches I've seen in a while. Specially with our discount. That puts the price of the 9.5 thousand pound winch with the synthetic winch rope at around 350 give or take. Plus, it is rated at 5700 lbs on the top layer of cable, more than enough for a rig in the 3000-3600 lb range.

The RC has a wireless remote, synthetic winch rope, and is rated at 9,500 lbs, has a waranty and is new. Like I stated earlier best buy I've found in winches at around 360.00 or steel cable for around 270.00 plus RC has some of the best customer service out there.

Good thread. I've wanted a winch for quite awhile, but have been spending money other places. :/

Yea, saving for something like a winch is hard specially for the first time. Always seems to be something that is more important to get for the rig, or something that needs to get fixed. On my Cherokee the first thing I got for it was a winch, which was part of the trade I made for my Cherokee. HS9500i with synthetic winch rope.

my buddy makes a few decent winches. good line speed, strong pull, and probably the best solenoids on the market.
he has taken apart almost every winch on the market and designed his with stronger components.
he also has the best customer service ever heard of.

his name is duncan, and his winches are Titan.

http://www.titanwinches.com/

he also has ****** blocks, straps and even 12v air compressors.
