Default Best way of fixing Pinion Angle

Hey y'all,

I'm at ~3 inches of lift with a stock driveshaft and a 1 inch transfer case drop and I'm getting what I assume to be vibes from my rear due to bad pinion angle. From what I've read the diff should be parallel to the transfer case, and right now it's tilted up a bit. What would be the best way of solving this? Shims? Thanks for any input

Is it a block lift with angled blocks?

Nope, just a rubicon express 2.5 inch full length Add a leaf on some nearly new stock leaf packs.

Adding degree shims to the spring pack would be a good easy fix.

Well, you know how to spell assume...

I'd confirm your suspicions by removing the rear driveshaft and going for a drive in 4wd (front wheel drive). If you have no vibes then you can be more confident it is the rear shaft or pinion angle causing the vibes.

How are the u-joints in the shaft? Any evidence of a balancing weight falling off or something of the sort?

Correct, in this case. That would be different if you moved to a double cardan joint driveshaft (CV style, used with a slip yoke eliminator). Diagram below shows the proper angles. You have the bottom setup.

As stated:

Best: SYE kit and double cardan driveshaft
Cheapest: Shim the pinion down
