dropping a K on hydro assist doesn't make sense on a D30 and 33's. and you'll still have to spend $300 for some HD steering to hook it up to. I'd be more interested in swapping out that D30 and going from there. if you're gonna have a D30 forever just go WJ swap. if you're going to have a D30 short term or you're broke, zj tie rod.

I just put this on my 99 with 31s. I had a Procomp es2000 damper on my 96xj and it looked and felt identical to this, but cost a lot more. From what I've seen they are all pretty much the same unless you are willing to spend like $70, then you get some extra beef as best I can tell. It mainly helps to keep it tracking straight when the road/trail is off camber or uneven. Takes some strain off the pump & gear too. If you got wobbles that's something else. I can tell the difference from the tired, old stock one that was on there, but I wasn't expecting any miracles and my tires aren't all that huge anyway. This is cheap enough that it will help keep some strain off your PS pump & gear until you get things beefed up, without killing the wallet.

My old dampener was making a moaning noise when the wheels were cranked. Rough Country hooked me up with a new unit for around $30 from their scratch, dent, take off inventory. It had a tiny dent and the hardware was still new in the bag. I noticed no difference other than the noise was absent.

Regardless on the thoughts on not having a steering stabilizer, you would not be commiting a crime if you put a new one on. Believe it or not they do work regardless if you notice it with or without it on. Yes there are over priced ones and yeah they probably all do work the same. But they have a purpose and its not going to kill someone to spend 20 bucks on one. RC has one for around 20 or 30 i believe. Same with sway bars. You may not need them but would it help to be a little safer with them on. Yes IMO.

Oh and if your getting the one with the coolest sticker. Get the RE one. Looks cool and is only $35 ( I know alot of money someone could spend on other things) But come on we all have spent alot of money on stuff whether you need it or not, you cant deny that.
