Default Best shocks for a 4.5" RE lift

So i bought a 4.5" lift from rubicon express with the full set of leafs for my 01 xj. this is my first lift and i am having a hard time deciding what shocks to go with. the rubicon express ones are currently unavailable. how should i go about making sure that the shock i buy is the correct lenght extended and collapsed?

How much are you willing to spend?

Bilsteins would work perfect but run $80-100 each.

i would like to spend around $80. i saw some bilstein's on 4wheelparts.com but it only said for a 4" lift. will that extra 1/2 to 1" matter?

Those would work fine. You are probably looking at a 14/22 shock. Meaning 14in closed length and 22in extened.

ya rubicon express said to get a shock 14/24 for rear and 15/26 for front. i called quadratec and the guy there said to go with the blistiens also and the 4" one would work. so looks like i will go with bilsteins. ill get some pics up when its done
thanks
