Made my roof rack out of conduit and painted it with bed liner. I cant believe how well its held up. cost was maybe $80. The plan was to upgrade to a welded one this winter but I haven't found a reason to.

I used a metal pallet flipped upside down for my roof rack. It was free and I just sold it for $40

I once used 4 boxes of 2" screws and put them in all 4 tires for snow traction. Everyone should go try it. Works best on brand new tires.

I have magnetic battery operated LED lights that I use for rock lights, rear hatch, under the hood, etc... You can stick them anywhere there is metal when needed...

At $3.99... Keep a few in you glove box, console or emergency kit...

They work well when wrenching under the vehicle at night on the trail compared to trying to set up a flashlight just right.

It's also a very quick and effective way to "air down".

My friend couldn't afford a roof rack so we just used an old couch we had laying around for his roof rack.
