Default BEST brand water pump

Best brand water pump out there? Building a stroker for my 88 jeep cherokee 4.0. Already got a 2 core radiator for it, just wonder what you guys recomend for a good water pump. And what about harmonic balancer?
Thanks

Best brand water pump would be the Hesco around 200$ second best would be Flowkooler 1747 around 100$, third best would be Mopar around 45$.
I own a Flowkooler nothing negative to say about it.

Is there really that big a difference between water pumps? I understand the impeller blades may be slightly different but at the same time the only other way for more "flow" would be an increase in rpm, but the pulley/bearings won't be moving any faster on the expensive water pumps...so why spend the money?

I'm not sure they build one for a Jeep or not but on race motors if not using electric was Stewart water pumps. When I get ready for one I will check with them first.

OEM ones last 100k. ones from parts stores last me on average 30-40k. YMMV.

I think there are a lot of variables to consider (contaminates in the cooling system, excess belt tension, etc) before you state an opinion on quality. true some are made better than others but its not to say it'll last that long on your engine. bottom line, it's a bearing, stainless impeller and an aluminum casting... Pick what makes sense for your budget and establish a base line with this install. Listening to all these would be product specialist won't steer you any better...
