Bent unibody after 4 link build? fix or scrap?
So I just finished my 1999 jeep Cherokee rear 4 link conversion/ long arm build and after the first trip on it I noticed that the unibody about 8 to 12 inches behind where my coil springs mount is bent! Why did this happen? And what should I do? Cut the bent part out and lift the bumper and re weld a frame back in place? Or should I just take my long arms I built and get a new jeep? It really does not affect anything except the gas tank Mount and the bumper mounts and maybe a little on the rear quarter panels?
I tried to get some good pics but if you want more pics or whatever just let me know. Please give me some info if anyone else has ever had this happen? Or if this is common? Or what is my best bet to keep building this jeep? Thanks for the help!

Like they said, plate it. It's not even a very stressed area, especially with a coil suspension setup, so I'd say you have very little to worry about. Drill a small hole at the end of the cracks to stop them from spreading (something to do for now, until you plate it.)
As far as the cause, i'd say it was rear ended at some point in time, and you never noticed the damage before maybe?
