Bent Speaker, yep bent
I have a pair of Alpine R series 6x9s. One of them took a good hit or something because the magnet has split from the basket a bit, and now the center of the cone is hitting the tweeter. Is there a way to fix this or do I need new speakers? If they're done for, what would you guys recommend for a CHEAP replacement? They're not amped at all, just 18rms/52peak watts from the HU. TIA

Honestly I think fixing would be a waste of time. Go to Beat Buy or wherever you get your mobile electronics and get a new pair

I just got done installing some new pioneer wally world specials. That bent speaker sounds like a slinky. The other one is pretty good though. $10 anyone?
