alrighty everyone here is my question:
BDS 6 1/2 inch long arm lift kit: $2,589.00
link : http://bds-suspension.com/kit-customizer?kid=455H
Claytonoffroad 6 1/2 inch long arm lift kit: $2,209.00 (2,524.00 with bilstien 5100's)
link : http://claytonoffroad.com/product_in...roducts_id/114
Which one is a better value for almost the exact same cost?

they are both great companies. i guess it depends on what type of longarms you are looking for. im not sure about Clayton, but BDS has a no questions asked lifetime warranty.

the only real differences i can find are Clayton come with JKS disconnects and Bilstiens if you want them and all their control arms come with johnny joints. BDS you can have the standard shocks or FOX 2.0 and the disconnects are BDS made and the control arms are adjustable with no joints and you get a steering stabalizer... so they both have good and better points but i don't know which one is the better value

bds is a pita with their warranty. they wanted me to drive my cracked cross member to the nearest distributor which was 80 miles away. problem was it still needed to be in the jeep so i could get out there.

I got the Clayton 6.5" kit and installed it in Oct 2007. I have had no problems whatsoever with it. All the orig Johnny joints are still in it and making no noise or clunks.
I have no basis of comparison on BDS,though. Just saying the Clayton kit is great IMO!

of the two listed, i'd go with claytons.
but i'm kinda biased, i have staangs.
compare staangs to claytons and you would be surprised. kinda the same, only better... and cheaper too.

2x2 square tubing .25 thick. doubles as rock sliders. absolutely 100% full replacement warranty, currie johnny joints, best designed cross member that has a fully removable center section for tranny removal with integrated bolt cover so mud doesn't pack in and rust the tranny mount bolts.
there is no integrated t-case skid but if you really wanted one, i'm sure eric would weld one in on request.
eric wheels an xj, so everything is put to the test before it goes into production. he has test pilots for all models of jeep armour.

he doesn't list prices on his site, that's because the price of steel goes up and down all the time.
call him, tell him you were sent there from here. he will gladly chat about cherokees with ya.

Him being canadian shouldnt be a deterrant for you. And for prices call him, as Caged said his prices fluctuate based on price of steel. thats how you know you're not getting ripped
