Well, I've searched, searched, & SEARCHED and have found nothing on BDS suspension on this site or any other that I normally use.

So...

Are the BDS lift kits worth it? I would have to spend about $1200 for what I want (Pretty much new springs, shocks, steering stabilizer, track bar relocater, etc.) are they overpriced, or am I better off with choice #2... - 3" Rough Country?

 

I love my BDS 4.5 Lift, cant beat it great ride, lifetime warranty springs and flex great

 

The reason there's nothing on BDS here is because most people on this site are on a budget, and that is one of the most expensive kits out there for XJ's. BDS leaf springs cost almost as much as the full Rusty's kit that I'm running. It's a kit I really wanted, but just couldn't afford.
There are tons of Wranglers with BDS lifts, and from what I've read, they're very, very good.

 

i have a 3" bds lift and 31"s its very nice. life time warranty cant be beat. its quality, thats why you pay so much. BUT if I were to do it again I would not have gone with a 3" lift. wish i had gone with 4 1/2 because i constantly hang my axles up. the ride is great and so is the flex.... which reminds me.... i need to extend my brake lines
