These are also nice because if you chunk a tire real bad on an offroad trip, you'll still have a balanced tire on the trip home. Also, as tires wear, you don't need to have them rebalanced.

I would pass on using them.
I had a very bad problem using them on my 33's. After every bump my truck would go into a unstoppable death wobble. The wobble would happen a second after the bump. hitting the bump would dislodge the beads and cause the tire to become unbalanced and screw up everything. This happened after every bump in the road. Beads are great but Jeeps are very sensitive to minor adjustments due to the front end setup especially when lifted. Best bet get them balanced with lead on the inside of the wheel.
My tire guy charges me 5 dollars a wheel to re balance if necessary down the road.
Too much headache for what they are worth.

below 30 mph this can happen over 30-35 mph the beads will not dis lodge, simply part the side around the "high spot" (the moment the tire presses in to absorb the bump) and go right back to that spot that needs balancing.
The speed of the tire causes a centrifugal force for the BB's and they will not "bounce or dislodge" at speeds above 30mph.
Demolition x it sounds like you may have to little or maybe even to many bb's. always start with the chart posted with the first link and add 1oz at a time as needed until the desired balancing.
x2 on the 1oz-2oz of anti freeze.
I have had mine balanced like this for 40,000 miles (3 sets of tires). no issues or complaints

I've been looking at using dynabeads when I change my cycle tires. Never thought of airsoft pellets or BBs. I've got pounds of both of those. No need to buy special labled ones cool.

I know those beads were the issue since one i remounted the tires without the beads and balanced with lead it was perfect.

OK, reviving this thread. I'm going to do this because I knock off a weight almost every other time I go offroad. For 33x12.5 BFG MT's, how much airsoft ammo do I need per tire? Is it as simple as
1. Deflate
2. Break bead (best way to do this?)
3. Add ammo
4. Remove lead weights
5. Inflate
6. Go
?
I've never mounted, removed, or broken the bead on an automotive tire before.
