Default Bastard pack question!

So I have a chance to pick up stock xj leaf packs. I have the stocks on mine right now. I'm happy with the height but the load carrying flat out sucks, I squats like crazy. If I was to take the extra xj pack and add a leaf or two, would this help my load carrying? Thanks for the replies!

Adding extra leaves will help with the squating but it will raise the rear when there is no load.

That's ok...he has the original shackle with the spring pack. So if need be I can use the stock shackle instead of my 2" shackle. How bout the ride? Not that I'm too concerned about that, more just out of curiosity. I figure of I stay with the xj leaves maybe I wont lose too much flex also...??

stiffer the spring makes for rougher the ride, and less flex in most situations.

Yeah I figured. I was just thinking maybe if I stuck with an xj leaf pack, it would keep it similar to the ride and flex I have now. It seems that the stock leaves are super thin and pliable compared to most other leafs. Idk...I guess I'll never know for sure until I do it!

sorry to jack the thread, but is their an aftermarket pack that will offer a stiffer setup and retain stock height?

Dunno. That's what I'm trying to figure out, I think quadratec has some.
