Ok, have a set of free if I want full size 1980's jeep grand wagoneer springs, which are 2.5 inch wide and 56 inch long. Does any one know wether this main spring will offset the diff very much under the truck or less than a inch or two? Also where is a good source for spring pin bolts?

No clue on the offset, Napa has pin bolts though.

Yes but truck is 1 Hr from me. I will be there this weekend, but would like to not have to load up my torches for not. I did the measuring this weekend, but forgot to measure front spring eye to pin... I mean, I cannot remember everything lol, heck I have a hard enough time sometimes with remembering what day it is..

Center pin is about 2 back and springs should measure 57" flat. You will need to relocate shackles, or front mount to use them.

Ahh, so it's 2" back. I know I will have to use a shackle relo kit. What do you mean front mount? Mount the springs in back wards? If so will this bring the center pin very close to original position? I just don't wanna get close to the gas tank...

Sorry, I meant you could relocate the front mount farther forward instead of relocating the shackle. One or the other.

Ok, if I re drill my perches 1" so I can take up that inch is 1 whole inch gonna matter on the gas tank area? I'm not worried on hitting fender much I can trim/ bumpstop it, and let the suspension droop instead..
