Default bad amp or bad power?

Hey i don't know if this is the right place to post this but i have a amp powering to subwoofers and whenever i come to a stoplight it seems to cut out and as soon as i put my foot back on the gas it starts back up. I have my ground on the bottom of my seat because i couldn't find any were better to mount it. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Probably the battery or altanator, always bolt ur ground down and the run a second self tapping screw in to insure good connection that won't wiggle lose

Issue is being caused by a crap ground. Scrap away the paint where you will use the self tapping screw and screw it directly to the metal. you can always give a quick spray with paint over ring and screw afterwards.

I sanded and grounded my amp to the seat belt bolt under the seat, never had an issue

It doesn't matter where you ground it as long as it makes good connection with the chassis, bare metal, snug to chassis.

It also needs to be as short as possible and atleast the same guage wire as the b+ to the amp. I also recommend the big 3 upgrade as your system is only putting out what the stock chassis ground to the battery can handle. Pushing that limit will burn out your amps due to voltage drops. I have mine bolted under the belt hold down under the seat next to the door. Make sure its metal to metal. I put some dielectric grease in there to insure perfect contact always.

It's the bolt that holds the receiving (female) part of the seat belt to the frame, maybe it's different for me since I have bench belts. It's a black self tapping hex bolt that goes into the bare metal plate of the seat belt
