If I'm in the wrong section please let me know. But I wanna put a waganeer 44 front and a explorer 8.8 rear in my 98 cherokee. Just wondering if the bolt patterns are the same? Or even if someone knew of the years where I could get both axles. Any help is much appreciated.

Waggys are 6x5.5 and 8.8s come in 5x4.5 and 5x5.5 so no. If you want the waggy front either find a waggy 44 rear or better yet a Rodeo/Pilot D44 since it comes with disc and is the same width as the waggy unlike the 8.8 which is a couple of inches narrower. And both of those aren't c-clip axle like the 8.8.

You can make both the waggy and 8.8 a 5x5.5 with aftermarket parts. For the 8.8 yukon ultimate 88 kit has 5x5.5 holes in the axles and it removes the c clips and adds about a inch to the width of the 8.8.The front http://www.horsepowersales-llc.com/servlet/Detail?no=24 or get the parts yourself locally http://www.naxja.org/forum/archive/i.../t-972334.html

To swap the waggy to 5 lug you'll need everything from the knuckles out from a 5 lug D44 like a Scout, which I don't recommend due to the crappy external hubs that like to snap studs, or a Ford. You'll need the knuckle, spindle, hub, caliper, caliper bracket and bearings and hubs. Cheaper just to find a matching 6 lug rear. Even with the c-clip eliminators for the 8.8 that makes it the same width as your stock XJ axle and the waggys are a bit over an inch wider so it's still a bit narrow. Not hating on the 8.8 but with a waggy front it's just not a good match. The waggy rear D44 and M20 and the Rodeo/Pilot D44 are all plenty strong and will hold any tire the front will and none of them have c-clips so you won't have to buy a kit to get rid of them.
