Axle swap question
Will a 8.8 from a mustang work. I know adding spring perch's and shock mounts will need to be done. But is the axle width going to be right? I'm asking cause I can get one free and has disk breaks.

When I had my YJ, I went to bone yard, and found a 1997 Explorer iirc with disc brakes for $175. It was 4:10 with limited slip.

nope you need one from a explorer. 95 and newer have 31 spline axles shafts and disk brakes already and are the right width. well close anyway, there about a inch narrower but its the closest 8.8 you can get
