So .. . .my f350 had a pinion snap. . .needless to say Im getting a new axle for the truck..

Getting about the time where the xj needs regeared. Its a 3,73 ratio from the front. Dana 60 I believe. If I rebuild the diff on this old axle could I use it for a back axle on the xj and what would I need to get going up front? 44?

Never regeared anything and running 31s but probably going to 35s in the next few months.

 

so you want to put a front superduty 60, into the back of a XJ?

you should start reading up on axle swaps more.
