I am doing a SYE here in the near future and need to change my pinion angle in the rear. I am looking for 6 degree shims. I want steal ones i am pretty sure. I don't want these things flattening out on me.

But where the heck can i get these things!?

The only legit looking ones ive found are Warrior Products off amazon for around $35.

Any help or advice is welcome! Thanks a bunch!

About to shim my also. Do they make a longer spring pin to go trough the shim and into the axle?

Looking at the warrior products ones on amazon for $34 bucks. I'm thinking they are my best bet. They are steal. made in the USA. and have angle centering pin holes so that the centering pin still goes in strait. buts its kind of expensive for 2 pounds of metal

$35 sounds about right, you can get a new center pin at a hardware store

Iron Rock Auto sells them and includes the pins. My question is, how do you know you'll need 6 degree shims? Normally you have to check the angles you have after doing the SYE to figure out what size you need.
Oh, here is a link for the ones I found. http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=PFX

well i know it will be at least 6 degrees or higher. I measured with an angle finder. I am gonna go with 6 degree though so that the pinion is pointing a little south of the tcase. this is to take into account for axle wrap

You can get new leaf spring center bolts at any Napa store. You just need to known the bolt diameter (5/16 or 3/8). They will be longer than you need, so after you assemble the shim and leaves you can just trim them at the top.

well i have taken a yard stick and positioned it where the new output yolk will be and down to the pinion. i have a 3inch rough country lift. 99. and i have the AX15 so the tcase is a little bit closer to the front of the vehicle. about 2 inches closer

??? I'm at 4" in the rear with no shims or anything. 6 degs is way too much for a 3" lift

I mean It doesnt sound right but if you think you measured right with the appropriate length then Why not? It deff doesnt sound like a 6* shim match up
