I dont see the appeal of the waggy front axle. wider than stock so you'll probably run spacers rear, 6 lug so now you're definitely running conversion spacers rear, low pinion, and I dont know about wherever you're at. but here, good luck finding spare waggy shafts at the JY
not saying it's a bad axle. just different. interesting choice of swap for sure. I'd rather just do half tons 44/fw8.8 or 44/9
anyway slim you've got a lot of home work to do before you decide to swap anything bud

The low pinion part... Honestly, not once have I ever said to myself, "Man, if only I had a high pinion axle I would have made it over that obstacle." I've never broke a R&P on it. Ground clearance is nearly a moot point. It may be 2 inches different.
Yes, a High pinion 44 center narrowed down to Wagoneer width is where it's at. I'd like to have that set-up but the high pinion wasn't worth the extra work at the time to me.
Wagoneer shafts are pretty easy to find around here. I have 2 sets at the house now.

I chose a Wagoneer 44 because it's not full width. I can't stand full width axles where I wheel. Once you convert the 6-lug to 5-lug you're set. You can match the 5-lug bolt pattern on the back with either adapters or a custom shaft.

low pinion isn't about ground clearance for me. I think high pinion belongs up front just for the reduced gear deflection. but I've never seen low pinion be a problem. also driveline angle. it's interesting watching a low pinion axle at full droop
like I said. I just dont see the appeal of a waggy axle. certainly not a bad swap. just not a direction I'd go

I dont really think I'm a fan of full width either from watching them in action. they're just monsters. but the half ton 44 is what like 2" wider than waggy? 65" doesnt seem too too bad.

I gotcha I thought trussing one was to keep from bending axle tubes.
