A 44 runs the same joints as a 30...
39s? Dana 60 at least.
Then again, if all you do is play in mud then, by all means, slap some 39's on your 30. Nothing tough about that.

you're trippin. 1. you cant gear a 30 deep enough to make 39's bearable. 2. even if you did gear it to 4.88 it would shatter ring gears (local guy I know has gone through 3 rings now.. only on 36's). 3 dana 44 and a dana 30 share the same size ujoint. not strong. 4. your brakes will never be strong enough on either axle
need I continue?

Ya I know its not gonna be cheap by any means but its gonna be worth it to have the Jeep the way I want it. Not looking for full widths right now as I will be keeping it street legalish for NC inspections.

I dont see the appeal of the waggy front axle. wider than stock so you'll probably run spacers rear, 6 lug so now you're definitely running conversion spacers rear, low pinion, and I dont know about wherever you're at. but here, good luck finding spare waggy shafts at the JY
not saying it's a bad axle. just different. interesting choice of swap for sure. I'd rather just do half tons 44/fw8.8 or 44/9
anyway slim you've got a lot of home work to do before you decide to swap anything bud
