I wouldn't go over 35s (At the most on a built 30) and wouldn't go over 37's on a 44.

A 44 runs the same joints as a 30...

39s? Dana 60 at least.

Then again, if all you do is play in mud then, by all means, slap some 39's on your 30. Nothing tough about that.

Someone from Florida would bolt some 40's on a 30 and never look back!

If you pick the right 44 it has the same brakes as a 60 hehe wait maybe that was not the point of this thread lol

Damn 3 rings on 36"s crap I better be careful then gonna run these tires out and look into an axle swap as I run them. Would the waggy 44 be better suited for 36"s?

Ya I know its not gonna be cheap by any means but its gonna be worth it to have the Jeep the way I want it. Not looking for full widths right now as I will be keeping it street legalish for NC inspections.

I dont see the appeal of the waggy front axle. wider than stock so you'll probably run spacers rear, 6 lug so now you're definitely running conversion spacers rear, low pinion, and I dont know about wherever you're at. but here, good luck finding spare waggy shafts at the JY

not saying it's a bad axle. just different. interesting choice of swap for sure. I'd rather just do half tons 44/fw8.8 or 44/9

anyway slim you've got a lot of home work to do before you decide to swap anything bud
