Im expecting you mean ax15 to aw4. If so search.

If not.. Then you'll want an aw4 from another 4 cylinder jeep, as the bellhousing bolts are in 2 different patterns on the 4.0 and 2.5. However, IMO i wouldnt want an automatic 4 cylinder jeep. The 2.5 is low enough on power as it is, and the automatic tranny wont help it one bit in that department. As far as the electronics go.. You're probably gonna be on your own with that one. 99% of all swaps to the tranny on the 4 banger are from an auto to a manual, or the stock manual to a different stronger manual tranny. Therefore, you're not gonna find much info on that subject. Might could look at ax15 to aw4 swaps and go from there, however some things may be different.

youll need the automatic tcu, the automatic ecm, the wiring harness, the engine wiring harness for the auto, probably the body harness so the tcu can be plugged in, the flexplate, i believe their is a spacer that goes into the end of the crankshaft for the automatic trans, the driveshafts for the auto, trans cooler lines, trans cooler.

dont know if the jeep has aftermarket gears or if it has stock gears, if the gears are stock it will be a turd since autos came with 3.55s and manuals are typically 3.07s

Just did the peugot b/a 5 to aw4 swap. If you want to use the factory shifter you will need tcu, and either the whole wiring harness(you can splice in the wiring if you are feeling frisky), throttle body brackets from auto to hookup kick down cable, brake pedal assembly or wire in tc lockup switch, flex plate and spacer, I think the crossmember is different as well.

The ecm is not necessary as it doesn't control transmission.

Why would you want to swap from an AX15 to an AW4 anyway? AX15s are all over the place.

I have wheel'd my buddys manual and it wasn't as fun as my auto. I'm really just looking for a 91+ with a good body. That's why I was gonna do it.
