This all started when i decided to put the old AW4 to the test, my buddy tryed to crawl and bash up a crevase in the backwoods with his ax15. just couldnt make it happen so my aw4 stepped up to the plate. long story short, one big clunk, half *** tranny pump half *** workin, puts me on the side of the highway in the middle of the night with a few beers in me, one phone call to the girlfriend, gettin picked up... bad night jeep towed by the county
so instead of doing what i should of done from the get go, i skipped the forums and dove right into a 5 speed swap in my 93 cherokee. i started th quest by hauling a AX15 out of a 99' 100 miles home in the back of my new $300 geo metro.. yes you can do this...
i cut a hole in my firewall plugged a cluthc master cylinder in
swapped the transfer cases and bolted up the ax to the block
the peddles were a whole different story though and i have yet to get it totally right, i took the peddles from a 94 cherokee 5 speed, then i had to weld in some custom mounts for the clutch master. turns out the 99 clutch master doesnt exactly match up to the 94 peddless..
well anyway had it all apart and ended up fixing the notorious exaust crack...
intake off, exhaust off, exhaust welded up, everything put back together in order!
Heres where the problems start.
i started it up after i put everythingg back together and in ran for a few seconds and completely lost fuel pressure--
after that i put a new pump, filter and swaapped out crank sensors and now im in the same place i started- losing fuel pressure right after it starts up. could a lost cam signal be massing me up?
ill upload photos when i figure it out!

i think that last word you meant to spell in your title is "awry". other than that all i got is have you swapped over to a ECU meant for a manual and not an auto? that might have something to do with it but I'm not sure

You dont have to have swap computers, just leave the NSS in the Neutral position.
But the crank and cam sensors should only control the timing of the spark and pulse of the fuel injectors. hmm...
