Default APN header with Brown Dogs

I'm going to be picking up a set of Brown Dog motor mounts soon and figure I may as well do a header since mine is cracked and I'll have the manifolds off anyways. Has anybody ran into clearance issues with the APN header and brown dogs? I've read a few stories about them not fitting properly with some aftermarket headers.

It'll probably depend on the year of your XJ.
Can't say more than that, other than that I'm wondering the same thing... I've got an APN sitting in the closet waiting to be installed, and I may as well pick up some new motor mounts before I put it on.

just the motor mounts? no problem. the older style engine mount brackets would interfere with a header, so there was an option to get ones made differently so they fit. pretty sure now all of the brackets are "header" brackets.

I've never really searched threads on motor mount installs but I have read them. I read a lot of the vendor threads where there promoting a certain product amd I have read brown dogs thread. Never heard of having to take off the manifolds, everyone that bought them and installed them commented back says very great beefy product and was done in 30 mins. I'm not saying your wrong cause I'm sure it makes in ten times easier and would be nice just new info to me. I'm interested in what does need to be dine as my jeep needs them. 00xj with precats
