Default Anyone run this front end/ steering set up

I have never seen one set up this way. I just bought my jeep and this is how it was already set up. It is going in the shop tomorrow to try to fix the control arm bracket and move the axle back in alignment.

If someone else is running this same set up, how are your steering stabilizers configured? Do you have a picture of yours similar to mine?

Looks like a WJ conversion with an un centered axle. You don't NEED a stabilizer.

wow. yikes. have them check out that track bar bracket and make sure it's on there safely it looks hack!

I run the same style crossover steering. you do not need a stabilizer. if you really want one for whatever reason looks like you've got plenty of room to mount in the center of the axle and then onto the tie rod

Yeah, that's the same thing I thought. Very shotty looking welds.

I'd be worried.

Very sketchy looking track bar mount on the axle. I'd be cutting that off and welding on a good mount immediately if that's what was under my Jeep.
The steering itself looks fine, and like mentioned already, you don't need a steering stabilizer.

I figured I would need a stabilizer since it has 35 in tires on it. This is new to me so I am still learning. The track bar bracket was broken and I took it to a good welder close by and he reattached it and reinforced the bracket with 1/4 inch plate.

Yes they did. It was not me though. It is going in the shop this morning to try to get it fixed. The guys at the shop looked at it and said that they were more concerned about the control arm bracket than anything else.

Cool, hope you get it fixed.

I bought a D30/D35 to get 4:10's from this guy who bragged he had his rig "six feet in the air once"
Got home, and noticed the front Axle was smiling.......
Must of been the ones he was using when he got all that air.....
I got a good deal though, so I wasn't really pissed.

People: Stop jumping your Jeeps!
Its not a Motocross bike!

Spending $40-$50 on a nice artec or ruffsruff track bar baracket wouldnt hurt reguardless of anyone saying that bracket is safe.
