Granted, not the best on the marked but a good product that ran on tons of koh cars.Originally Posted by Atmos

I actually really wanted to try a set of 2.5" remote resis just to find out for myself. But hey I'd run anything my sponsor gave me for free too. And tuned

Honestly if someone wants to run fox shocks for 50 bucks more, what is it to you? If one wants a great shock, without jumping to the top of the line, Fox 2.0 fits the bill nicely, especially of one wants a firmer setup than 5100's. Quit taking how other people spend their money so personally.

isn't that the whole point of internet forums? in the end I don't care. but if I can save a fellow jeeper from making an unnecessary purchase, I'd like to yeah. you're considering buying the 2.0's right? I'd wager you'd never notice the difference between a bilstein and these fox's. so why pay more? because you want a shiny shock body? go for itOriginally Posted by M5 253

I have fox 2.0's on my xj, in my opinion the bilsteins I had sucked the fox shocks are firmer and provide a better ride. I think your mistaken in recommending bilsteins over fox but that's your opinion but rather than say your wrong and bash your preferred brand, in offering my opinion. That's what internet forums are for

I like my Bilsteins, but the finish on them is not good. Mine are pretty corroded. They work well, but look like crap.

I'm not recommending bilstein over fox. like I said if you feel like spending more money then go for it. I don't see the point unless you're playing go-fast, in which case you'd need a 2.5 anyway. so keep your money in your pocket. that's allOriginally Posted by sv41878

I just picked up some lightly used ones for a hell of a deal. once I get them installed I'll report back here. Definitely excited to see how they are

Did you hear me say I want something that is going to hold up better in the salt they put on the roads around here all winter and people saying how corroded the bilsteins get? Or do you think I should buy a 22000$ shock to run in salt and snow? Maybe I just need some 500$ carbon fibre salt deflectors to block the salt on my ride to the trail where I'm going to do 3.476 mph and boil my shock fluid. Thanks bro I got itOriginally Posted by Atmos
