I can say any bumper will bend it hit hard enough. I bent my rigidco bumper it's 3/16" structural steel and heavily braced and held on by 26 bolts. My tires slipped while climbing a ledge and and slammed down on the bumper.

Yeah my 3/16 L&L bumper has been smacked into trees, concrete blocks, rocks, you name it. No big deal with gussets and proper tie in

It's a global economy folks.
I'd love to sell nothing but American Made products....but who'd buy 'em?
With very few exceptions, the Jeep crowd (Especially XJ owners) is notoriously cheap.
So I sell what the market wants.....and you guys are are the market.

Wow. That's a great way to sell your products man. What a derogatory thing to say... Calling all of us XJ owners cheap-Asses. That really shows how highly you think of your customer base.

Learn to read and don't twist what I said around to suite what you want it to mean.
I own, have for a long time too....and I'm as cheap as you (XJ Owners) are.
We all own them because they are in expensive to buy, easy to repair, easy to build....and we're all cheap to some extent.
If you're offended Evan...

I've had the xrc front bumper and bull bar installed for a couple months now.
Bumper is easy to install and very durable! I've hit Rocks, blocks, trees and everything else and it has one ding in the under side where a slide down a sharp rock face and that's it. I also love that its useful in ways I never thought of. Any time I do work to the Xj the bumper is used as a work bench holds all the tools lol. Also used as a stool I stand on it when working on any engine parts I can't reach from the ground.
I did loose about 2" in the front which sucks. I also have a 12,000lb winch on it. I was gonna buy bigger springs to compensate but decided to just wait until next year when I buy the new lift which will come with new springs. Hope this helps.
