I am wanting to do a rc 4.5 inch lift soon but I want to add 1.75 inch coil spaces and longer shackles high bar pin eliminaters and stem eliminaters so that I sit just above 6 inches, my question is what all will I have to upgrade. I plan on a hack n' tap and longer brake lines but I'm not exactly sure what else. I made this to get a direct answer instead of having to search for something that might help me, any input is greatly appreciated!

you are on the right track, but you will need track bar and upper and lower control arms, adjustables would be best (at least on the lowers) and a SYE of some type
also consider a long arm setup

Ya I thought about long arms but being that I'm 15 and on a very low budget I was going to do the long are upgrade likely 6-8 months after the lift (if not a little sooner) but if I didn't have to get upper so I could save that money for the long arms I would really like to, but if it is needed than I guess I could try to get some

If you cant get the long arms the first time then i would do the 4.5 lift with adjustable Lca's. wait untill you get the long arm kit to add the 1.75" spacer. 4.5" lift is really the max you want to run unless you get a drop arm kit.

this is true also.. with a short arm at that hight its gonna ride like suck cuz the arms are at such a steep angle its shooting the shock into the body instead of carrying it through the suspension. again i suck at explaining things... i use alot of visual aids and i cant really use my hands when doing this

I was wanting to go with aal for the 4.5 and basically keep stock springs all the way with long arms and just have large shackles, would there be issues with that. I have also seen shackles by teraflex I think that like hinge, what would u think about those. Thanks for all the imput so far

My buddy is running his 6" lift with short aftermarket arms and it works just fine
You can decently tell there's more shock threw the body
I wouldn't run an extremely long shackle cuz it moves your pinion angel up
My guess is you still have leafs and a shim would probly be a better alternative
Have you heard about the s10 bastard pack? - about 4.5" lift for leafs
