Default another leaf spring question SORRY!!! lol

im still debating on wat springs to go with. i keep doing research and still cant decide what to do. what about a mj main leaf(bc i want the axle set back) with a like 2-4in lift xj leaf spring pack. i want more arch to the spring so my shackle aint so close to the ground. i have adjustable shackles. and with the 6.5in coils in front i need something to level out the rear. and i want to have good articulation

Do it up. I usually play around with bastard packs to get my desired height and performance. A bastard pack is all trial and error. I think i would try the whole mj leaf pack first, should get you close to the height you want with that shackle. I would try to avoid using shorter xj leaves with the mj main as that leaves a couple extra inches of main leaf that is unsupported my the secondary.

You say you want more arch to keep your shackle off the ground, but remember, the more you move t back, the more it will hit the ground and hurt your departure angle.

I belive they are 5 inches longer in total. 2 inches or so before the center pin and 3 after.

Whatever you decide I would go with shackle relocation brackets to optimize shackle angle. Better articulation and ride quality plus they will give you a slight lift as well.

Well I don't know of any standard XJ leaf springs that will set the axle back. If you do a bastard pack they have one that I believe uses dodge van leaf springs that will increase wheelbase and is supposed to ride well.

I flipped my xj leaves 180, bastard packed them with s10 leaves, and got about 5" lift and 6" more wheelbase. Add a traction bar and go. Mine worked awesome. But now I have a 4 link.

hmm never heard of that. I am a fan of bastard packs though I have had good luck with them and you can't beat the price.
