Think more like 4.5" and you'll be even happier. The money difference between a 4.5-6" set up is considerable. Go 4.5" and use the extra money to get a really nice set up.

having a bigger lift doesn't mean you dont have to hack your fenders. it will only give more space when you're not stuffing your tires. it doesn't matter if you have a two foot lift the second you try to flex and stuff that tire into the wheel well the lift isn't going to matter.

8" and 35's on a DD? Are you trying to drive OVER Honda Civics? The reason low COG is so popular is because it is substantially more stable (in most cases) while still retaining driveabilty (once again, in most cases). I'm running an RC 4.5 and DD and wheel it, and I have had no complaints.

Well I just opened this thread and this is the first post I saw. I don't have any context surrounding it, but that never needs to be said to Atmos.

Do you?
He does. I don't see how you're distinguishing suspension movement and body roll. This is a unibody with the suspension mounted to the body. Both movements are one in the same.

Yes its a unibody but it still flexes and twists,i can hear the body squeaking and interior parts popping when i max out the suspension on mine, thats why unibody connectors and or a roll cage is so much more important on these

Unibody flex and body roll are two different things.

Exactly. The suspension will pivot on the bumpstop, forcing the other side of the axle to droop. Droop keeps wheels planted and keeps your rig moving forward. If your cog is low, you can have body roll and stay planted. At 8" of lift, your cog is so high that when the body does start to roll, you're gonna be flopping over.

This. I lifted my Cherokee 3" on 33s and rolled it when I hit a deer going around a turn. I'm now slightly obsessed with LCOG, and I plan to lift my Comanche 3" with 35s. I have future plans that may even allow me to hit 40s on 3", but those details are a secret right now.

You can counter body roll with adjustable shocks too,i dont have sway bars on mine and goes as level around bends as it did with one,im running rancho rs9000 shocks and urathane bushings on all mounts

Like others have said on here, there are certain things that are a must have depending on the size of the lift, like SYE and gears with a 6" lift and 35s. If you cannot afford to do it all at once you are better off going with a smaller lift and tire combination that you can do without damaging other components and upgrade to larger lift and tires later. My 2 cents
