Alright. I need some help.

My current plan is this:

-APN header
-new down pipe
-thunderbolt cat 415250
-magnaflow muffler 10416
-2.5" tail pipe
-2.5" piping to make it long enough

But my question is, will all this fit together perfectly with welding? Can i use a stock down pipe or should I upgrade to a 2.5" Borla down pipe? If I do upgrade to the Borla one will it bolt directly onto my APN header?

I don't see why it wouldn't, all that should be made kinda universal, if your replacing everything else, why not.

What, the borla down pipe? In just wondering if the end of the header and top of the down pipe are going to bolt together right with the Borla.

Jeez just go to your local exhaust shop and have them make one. It'll probably cost as much if not less than a borla downpipe, and it will be made to fit your specific jeep.

Yes! This guy right here! They can see if the pipe will hit your driveshaft or not!

So I recently got my 98 Cherokee and the muffler had 3 holes in it and was held up by a coat hanger. So I went to a local muffler shop and had a magnaflow installed. Before I had the magnaflow installed I was averaging 19mph now Im barely getting 17 on the highway. Any ideas on why? Also any ideas on how to boost the MPG abit?

Are you finding you're constantly on the throttle at random times now because you like the sound more? Or you like to get the revs up high?

19 mph is pretty slow. 17 is horrible just go faster... lol

Really though, its hard to say. It could be just the gas that you put in recently isn't as good. I'd wait a few more tanks before declaring a new average.
