I have a FM super 44 on mine from performance curve and it sounds great. Good at idle, good when taking off, quiet when cruising. Just what I wanted.

Lol i'm proud of my 4 banger. Pulls the 32's just fine with stock gears and I get an average of 25-30 mpg if i drive her right. (Or around 10-15 mpg city)

If i ever blow this motor i'll probably do a 4.0 swap, and retire the xj as a DD. May do that anyways, I could use a nice diesel truck.

I need me a 5.9 ZJ. It'll have some volume after I get done with t

And about the white puffs of smoke, it could just be condensation settled in your exhaust. Or really wet and humid weather? My XJ puts out a lot of white smoke when it's really wet and humid. I practically **** myself the first time I saw it and had my nose in the tip. No smell
