You won't regret it. I rolled my Jeep twice, and now another CF member is using that track bar without any trouble.

Did you go with the shorter on or the longer one? I'm at 3" and don't plan on going higher.

 

Get the longer one. There's no reason not to, and you'll have it if you change your mind and go higher.

 

I was worried I wouldn't be able to size it for a 3" lift. If it have enough threads to get down to the length I need I'll get it. I'm going to shoot them an email.

 

You won't notice the 1/2" difference, but I don't blame you for asking. They're good people.

Whats the difference between the IRO double shear and single shear? Besides the obvious fact one's double shear and the other is single shear..

Double shear allows better rotation through the range of motion, with less stress. Instead of a TRE, it has a double shear type mount at both ends. I'm sure Dukie has a picture on his magical computer of knowledge to illustrate.

 

Thought so. So is the bracket the reason for the drastic increase in price between the two? Or do you have to buy that separate? Just trying to make sense in the cost between the two.. Really just wanna make my own damn track bar, but dont have a bender to do so.
