Looking for a pro comp or an American racing style black rim preferably under $50 as I see most sites at $55 plus. I think the back spacing is like 3.75 or something.
Thanks
Summitracing.com has the best prices that I've seen recently, but keep an eye on Craigslist. If you can wait, Black Friday is coming soon.

Default 2" Kit Questions

I am looking for a 2" kit with full spring packs for my DD. I have about resolved to OME, but am open to suggestions is someone knows of a cheaper kit with a quality ride. It seems like I can save alot by going with a different brand (not OME) of shocks.

Is it a good idea to try to save by getting cheaper shocks?

Assuming a 2" lift, are there special, longer shocks that go with it? Seems like there would be, but I have looked at various brands, but none seem to incidate that they are made for 2" lift, or any size lift for that matter. How do i know which ones to get.

Any suggestions (other than stop being a p**** and get a bigger lift) would be appreciated.

Odd, because 4 wheel parts is where I was talking about. I kept trying to add 4 to my shopping cart and it would only add 3. Finally I emailed them and got the story about no longer being made and they only had 3 left. But they're super popular so it's hard to believe they'd just stop making them.

Thinking of adding a 4.5 inch lift, this is my first jeep so I'm new, I've done some looking and I think I want a rough country lift (from what I've heard their pretty good for XJ's) with replacement leaf springs (defiantly not AAL), what else needs replaced with a 4.5" lift (ex. Control arms, brake lines, ect???) I wanna try to get everything for around $2,000 if possible????

Call up a vendor. They'll be glad to go down the list of things you need. You should be able to find a nice lift for 2k.

Nevermind.

That doesn't include the price of tires, does it?

You "need" nothing more. Install and go! It's where I started, too. There are a few additional suggestions, however, like longer shocks, re-routed or extended brake lines, an adjustable track bar. Nothing else is necessary though.
