I prefer the look of an 8" wheel.

I like the tall narrow tire look. Plus, I'd get tired of putting tires back on the bead.

 

I agree with both of you guys (clown and lowrange) the if all I did was mall crawl then 15x10 would be what I ran, but I really like to air down so im gonna stay with my 8's. The look is definitely all about opinion thought.

Without trimming I'd say 32s ?

 

If you are willing to trim you can run 35's. ktmracer was running like 37's and 3" or something crazy like that. If you don't want to trim then grab some nice 30x9.50's on some nice wheels.

 

I ran 31's on no lift with mild trimming. It rubbed at full stuff, but that's what bumpstops are for

 

You own an xj. Be one with the grinder and sawzall and run some 35''s with that 2" lift

I guess it depends on the actual tire size and not the class, I've seen 31s on no lift. And I thought your originally said what's the biggest tire that can fit. Not what fits lol. There's a difference.

 

This is more of a tip than question or answer. I used a flap wheel on my grinder tonight after cutting the front fenders. It was easy to use and it worked great.

 

Um, if you own a grinder without a flap wheel you are missing out
