The benefit of it is that the load is on two points on the fastener instead of one and it is less likely to fail. Also the joints used in double shear track bars have more range of motion than a TIE ROD END.

There is NO WAY I WILL EVER BUY MICKEY THOMPSON BAJA CLAWS EVER AGAIN!!!!!
They are the most horrible tires I have ever run. They have such a SOFT compond rubber that they Wear Really Fast. I only got Barely 18,000K-20,000K out of mine before they were bald, And I religiously rotated them every 3,500-4,000K miles. I ran 18-20PSI in them all the time so that the whole tread width made contact on the road so they would wear evenly. And when off road the rocks Chewed the HELL out of them. Had lots of missing chunks and slashes out of the outer edge tread block. They are the most awful tire to buy for that amount of money. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY THOSE TIRES. Id rather buy a set of BFG All Terrains Over Those.
So you sir are out of your mind if you think those are the Best tires out there.
You made me fall out of my chair Laughing my A$$ off when you said that they are the Best and only tire to ever buy.
Haha that was a good one. Best laugh I had all week.

I think im gonna go ahead and get the GY MTR/K's I've been reading reviews all over the net and most are getting between 30,000K-45,000K out of them. That's Double what I got out of my last set "Baja Claws" and some say there getting close to 60,000-75,000K out of them. So i'll hope for the best and hope they last me that long also. They look Bad A$$ and perform just as good as they look. So should be happy with them.
32/11.50 BFG KM2 on American Racing Mojave Teflon 15x8 w/ 3.75 bs. Cut adn folded rear fenders as much as possible, cut front fenders to body line almost. No rub in the front at full lock, bumps in the back due to sagging rear springs. Plan to get RC 4.5 X-series full suspension in a week or two. Stock gearing and still runs strong. Picked up set of 5 tires and wheels mounted and balanced for a total of $700!!!!!!!!!
