I just installed 3" blocks and 3" coil spacers on my 97 xj sport. I was wondering if I wanted to lift it three more inches, with 3" lift coils, and some shackles... what all else will I have to do? extend the brake lines, and to a T-case drop? maybe new controll arms? I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to this, so any info would help!

Seriously, blocks aren't good. I'd recommend putting some 3" leaf springs in the back and removing those. But to answer your question, at 6" you need brake lines, shocks, SYE, track bar and steering upgrade, LCAs, UCAs, and you may need to swap one or both axles depending on what tires size you want to run. On that note, you'll probably want to regear if you're installing 33s or larger, unless you don't have any hills in your area.

When you hit the gas, two things happen:
1) The rear wheels start to turn one way
2) The rear axle housing tries to turn the other way.
Equal and opposite reaction, and all that
Axle wrap is the axle trying to rotate in the opposite direction of the wheels under torque. When you move forwards, the pinion on the rear axle housing will tilt upwards a bit as the housing twists under the springs. The softer your springs, the more this happens, and in really bad cases the pinion can move enough to snap a driveshaft yoke, bend the springs, etc.
Lift blocks make it worse because they increase the leverage of the housing on the springs.

I've never read that. Makes perfect sense. I have 3" blocks right now from the po and have never had a problem but i still dont recommend them. They're just in till i finish gathering my bastard pack... Plus they are steel and installed properly so...
