trying to run 33's with minimal rub.
pros and cons of running shackle vs no shackle?

I have the terraflex BB kit on it right now. going to rough country's 4.5 I think.
A 3" spring + shackle will yield better flex if set up properly (shackle at 45 degrees).

So should I put my tracbar in its original location, or should I drill a new hole like my BDS instructions suggest?

I just dont want to unduly weaken the bracket, especially as aftermarket trackbars require to re drill the factory hole to a larger size.

My setup will be 3inch lift on 31's.
Hey man...to add to what was commented I ran about 5" with stock track bar....even wheeled it pretty good with no problems....maybe I got lucky lol, but was fine..

Default RC lift dimention question?

Hey guys, new to the forum and have a few "newbie" questions. I currently have a 1999 xj Classic and just bought a used I believe older version Rough Country 6" lift. Came with Coils, upper and lower control arms(short arm), pitman arm, quick disconnects, adj. track bar, rear leaf springs and shackels( not sure if there stock or RC),T-case drop, but no shocks. Just wonding if anyone know what length the coils chould be for the 6" or 6.5" lift not installed and Is there a way to tell if the rear leaf is the correct lift? Asking because I've decided to sell the 6" lift and go with the RC 4.5" lift kit but didn't want to use the add a leaf, wanting to use the RC leafs.

I'm using this Jeep as a daily drive and maybe some weekend fun and planed on running 31" or 32" tires. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

I can line up the tracbar with the hole, but when I do the [insert technical name] gets in the way of putting in the bolt as seen in picture..

I basically cant feed the bolt straight in

Is there anything I could do without removing the [part name]?

I had to cut my old bolt off because it seized inside the trackbar bushing sleeve..

the bar in the way is called a draglink. and is it an aftermarket bolt? or stock? It should fit in just fine with the draglink in place... I bought a bolt from home depot and it fit right it. the new bolt I bought was 2.5" long. yours looks too big.

I came upon a great price for 2 m/t tires. I cant afford to buy 2 more m/t tires so thinking of buying some a/t tires for the 2 front tires my question is will this cause any type of terrible driving characteristics, might be a dumb question but thought I would find out before doing it thanks for any input or thoughts!!

Its an aftermarket bolt... Its not too long because it fits when I have the draglink out of the way.
The draglink is only in the way when I have the tracbar lined up to bolt in.

It's not hard. Remove the cotter pin and the crown nut, hang something heavy off the drag link, and hit the SIDE of the tie rod end where it connects at the wheel with a hammer. It'll pop right out.

Resist the urge to bang on the top of the TRE stud, it won't work and it'll screw up the threads.
