relocation brackets? Fantastic!

I have the ones from H.D. Offroad Engineering (better design IMO) and love them. The have about 3/4" of lift built into them, and make the ride/flex sooooo much better.

There was an upcountry package available that gave an inch of lift. But it sounds like you have a budget boost lift and on about 2" a 30" tire isn't going to rub and a 31" would so if you don't mind a little trimming than just go for the 31's

Thanks, I haven't read anything about the upcountry package on mine, so must have been a PO thing. Thinking about stripping the BB and putting on 3", what size tire would fit if I were sticking with the 16" rim? i.e. 245/75/16?

Forgive me if I missed it!!!

I tried searching through 275 pages of Q&A but my eyes hurt now.

Here is my question:

Has anyone ever wished they got a bigger lift after the first one was done?

I mean Im looking into the 3" by Rough Country.

Am I going to want the 6" in a year or so?

Should I just get the 6" now?

Thanks.

Sorry again.

In my opinion it mainly depends on what you use your jeep for...if you want it to strive out on the trails and go where most cant, than yes more is better(but then you gotta look into bigger tires and most likely gears and/or lockers)NOT CHEAP...but if its your DD/trail rig you'd most likely wanna stay in the mid range like 4.5", comfortable on road, yet decent off road...but most have their own opinion on what they want, so its all a matter of your personal preferance/desires.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I will be on a budget, so money IS an object.

More than likely it will be a daily driver, but also used for trails, camping, towing, and used as a bug out vehicle. I mean I live in SO CAL and if a huge earth quake hits, I may need to get over power poles, roads that split open, floods, ect.

I already been schooled on tire size clearing the dif, so I wanted to run 35"s m/t'? Is the 31"s going to do the same thing?

You always want to go bigger but 6" isn't a good place to start
