Is there a downside to using tcase drop spacers rather than the rectangle shaped drop?

Default Lift Suggestions

I have a 96' Cherokee Sport 2 door 4x4 4.0L. I purchased BFG T/A KO's (235/75R15LT) and OP 15" wheels for her awhile ago and have been getting some rubbing here and there under load or full turn. I am wondering what lift kit you'd recommend to stop the rub and give me solid performance to cost. Really appreciate the forum and how helpful you are

Surface area during upward force, the rectangular ones spread out the energy better

Only thing I know for sure is I would need to relocate (possibly extend) brake lines. Other stuff I need to adjust/mod...? My mechanical skills are somewhat aboveu average but still novice in my opinion. Any and all pointers much appreciated!

Probably new control Arms unless they came on previous lift, tcase drop (maybe: depends if you have drive vibrations.) Adjustable track bar or relocated track bar. Idk what else, I'm not sure what all is on your current lift. Or do you not even have a lift?

No, I am pretty sure it just rubs the fender. Under a pretty full load of 5 adults + luggage the tires were basically touching the edge of the fender. Was pretty embarrassing, in-laws had to take the BART.

I was gonna say something, but mine will probably look worse when I cut them. My flares and gas skid will be my angle grinder learning curve.

My current powertools are a drill, an angle grinder, and a circular saw. Given those options... lol

angle grinder will work just make sure you got the right blade and use masking tape along cut line to prevent paint from chipping
