Okay. What does it do? Does it help with steering or something?

What it does is it shifts your front axel side to side so when you lift your rig over really 3 inches your front axel will be off to the left side cuz your track bar is only so long. So the more you lift the mire it's going to pull the axel to the one side. Meaning by drilling the hole 3/4 front the original track bar hole your giving your axel and your trac bar the correct lengths the keep everything center. But 3 inch lift don't sweat it. Anything above a 3 inch better look forward to some options that are out there to correct the axle.

Drivability on 3 inch lift is great lol handles good but I got 33's under my rig with 3 inch lift stock trac bar only off by a hair

Hope I could help you in every way!

when we did a buddies we had to take the control arms off and very carefully lower it even more then lift it to put the arms back on. hope that helps.

Alrighty when I put mine in the driver side was butter the passenger side would not drop down even with a jack at on the driver side.

So what we did was grabbed the biggest crow bar and pushed down enough to slid in the compressed coil but..... I believe if you undo your drop pit arm your front will drop enough too. What size lift?

Do not get aal( add a leaf) you will sag in a year. Spend the money get full leaf packs. RC 3 inch is not bad the series II is nice. 4.5 looks good with 31's believe it or not

Well you could do a junk yard bastard pack with s10 leafs plenty of threads on that. Or you could buy shackles for the rear to lift you up. If your leafs are spanked now take a trip to the u pull it yards and rip some s10 packs out. I'm sure someone else will chime in with there $0.02

umm that depends on the AAL, the condition of your leafs and how the rig gets used. there are plenty of people that have success with AAL's i used mine in my truck for almost a year and gave them to a buddy to use in his truck. he has been running that along with a bastard pack for almost a year now with no sagging. that was also a cheapy procomp AAL.
