Can't really recommend a tire if we don't know what terrain you run. Besides pavement, what kind of obstacles do you tackle?

And out of curiosity, do you have any pictures of your Jeep to share?

Based off of his post I'd recommend an all terrain or street tire. Mud terrains are too loud and it's mostly street. Sounds pretty tall for 35s too.

Being in the northwest suburbs of Chicago there isnt too much around for obstetrical, but we do have a few local off road parks I do frequent. Its mostly mud, hill climbs, a few small rock ledges and walls to climb. (nothing like out west) but none the less still some pretty cool things to hit. And of course I have pictures of the jeep to share.

I do want to stick with a mud terrain due to the fact that most of the parks I go to are very muddy.

I very nearly purchased a set of Cooper STT Pro tires last year, but then I admitted to myself that an A/T makes more sense for me. After far more research than I care to admit, I settled on giving Cooper a shot.

I don't have personal experience with them yet, but it is what I would purchase for my rig

And that looks great, man. Nice Jeep

There's a guy in my club that runs cooper stt pros and he has hated them. Cut a couple and wore out fast. I like my mtrs and my roommate says they're quieter than all the KM2s he's heard. I've never ridden in a vehicle with KM2s personally though. My 35x12.50r15 mtrs are much larger than any 35" KM2 they've been next to also.

*** I know this isn’t a Lyft or tire question but I couldn’t find the appropriate chat and I knew people were replying in this one***so I took the doors off of my jeep yesterday, and when I had the driver side off and drove around everything was perfectly fine, however when I took off the passenger side as well and drove around, I’ve noticed that I didn’t have any gauges and my transmission was acting like it was having trouble figuring went to change gears. I have a theory that it has something to do with my passenger door side panel, because in order to pull out the door I had to get down and dirty with the passenger side door fuse panel. I’m not sure what I did but any advice would be great. Never had any problems until the passenger door was off

Thank you very much NewKindOfClown, and currently I am running Cooper SST Pro's on my F150, they arn't bad and pretty good in the snow, i feel as if I just want more of an aggressive tread pattern.
Has anyone heard anything about Gladiator X Comp M/T?
I have never heard of the brand before, but they almost look like Mickey Thompson
Baja MTZ P3's but are almost $50 less a tire.
On my last cherokee I ran 33 inch cooper discovery's as well, they did well when I was in Wyoming and where pretty reasonable on the highway even, not loud at all. I just feel as now I kind of want a louder, more aggressive tire, I also want to offset my wheels by an inch, I doubt that's a good idea to throw wheel spacers on but It would make the stance look more aggressive.

Based on what ive heard from friends, the KM2s work best with heavier vehicles, not so much with lighter XJs. know a few guys with full size trucks who love them.

KM2s don't side hill very well, they chunk really bad if you're spinning them on anything, they're heavier than the "same size" MTR they're louder than MTRs, and their sidewalls will come apart. I've seen them work, I've seen them fail, but I won't buy them.

I get rave reviews from my customers about them... but i'm excited about the release of the km3. Tons of hype surrounding them and my boss was able to test them at an event recently and he cant stop talking about them. Its rare he is excited for a tire since hes been around so many for a long, long time and hes seen it all haha

There are A TON of them in the club and everyone swears by them, but I like my MTRs and they seem to do just as well, if not better. They're taller and I never have to worry about the sidewalls.

goodyear has a reputation for skimping on the sidewalls of their tires. Duratracs have the worst out of them all, but imho i dont think the mtrs are all that much better. The duratracs are below average and i think the mtrs are average to slightly above for an offroad tire. The km2 probably sits at about average as well...but i do think puncturing a sidewall comes down to luck alot of the time haha. 2 guys with duratracs can take the same line, rub up against the same rocks. One will have a puncture, the other wont..ask me how i know
