That is my exact dilemma haha.

Before I click "buy", can someone sanity check this setup?

I already have a 3" Zone Suspension lift:

Wheel, Cragar V-5, Steel, Black, 15 in. x 8 in., 5 x 4.5 in. Bolt Circle, 3.75 in. Backspace
Tire, Discoverer A/T3, LT 31 in. x 10.50 in.-15, Radial

Good?

Yeah it's tough! I think I'd personally go with the 3.5" leafs, but that's just me. I'd just rather install longer shackles than break down the front to install coil spacers.

Valid point, I dont intend on running a spare tire carrier in the back but will run a front winch/bumper combo.

Thanks for helping me make up my mind. 3.5 leafs are slightly cheaper too.

Should be ready to roll. With the 31's and 3" lift you should have plenty of room to flex on the trail.

Default Lift and Tire/Wheel combo feedback

Hey everyone,

I have a 2001 XJ and I'm about to the pull the trigger on this 3-inch Rough Country suspension lift:http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep-sus...-kit-630x.html

And these tires/wheels in 31x10.50:http://www.quadratec.com/products/92609_281X_A_PG.htm

Could someone tell me if this would work - clearance, backspacing (kinda unclear on this), if I needed wheel spacers, etc.

From what I've researched, it should do the trick...

Also, does anyone know if Rough Country or Quadratec usually offer any holiday discounts or promo codes in December? I could definitely wait if that's the case.

Thanks a bunch in advance for the feedback guys,
Thanks,
-XJM

Don't go rough country. Try zone or rustys. And yeah it should work. You may need to do some trimming though.

Simple answer, yes. However stay away from RC and go for something like Zone, Iron Rock Offroad, etc.

Follow this chart.

Nice! Can't go wrong with CavFab 3 link. Start a build thread when you get rolling with everything.

Just started one, put up a ton of stuff ive done already. Mostly fab work type stuff while I accumulate the expensive goodies.
