Hi. Just was wondering why some people don't put shocks back in the rear end after a lift. I bought a 99 Jeep Cherokee classic with a 4.5 rough country lift on 33's. No shocks in the back. But I'm thinking of installing some because I hate all that bounce.

that's the first I've ever heard of not putting shocks back in. Probably broke the bolts taking the shocks out and never fixed it.

Anyone use the Maxxis Buckshot II or Bighorn mudders?
No, I don't lick fish.
No. But I am using the Nankang Mudstar which is the identical tread pattern to the original Maxxis Buckshot. The traction is great offroad. They don't wear very well though - I'm not sure if the same is true with the Buckshot or just because of the cheap Nankang carcass design.

Yeah, I looked them up when you asked the question... didn't know if the opinion would offer any insight or not.
lol... I had seen them in a few tire searches, but the Mudstars just happened to come on the parts jeep I had.

I have a chance to grab a brand new (less than 2k mi. on them) set of four 33x12.50R15's for 400 bucks from a fellow club member who went to 37's.

Thanks guys. I bought it last Wednesday, and never climbed up under it to see. I would have noticed it when I went to put some in. UNFORTUNATELY for me. They are all broke out but one lol. Lort
